City recovered well from the set-back of a European exit and have set sights on the FA Women’s Super League, Continental Cup and FA Women’s Cup trophies.
With extra time on the training pitches, players are reaching their top levels, with Nikita Parris having smashed the league’s all-time goalscoring charts and Georgia Stanway scooping award after award.
Cushing himself received the Manager of the Month gong for December and is hoping to lead his side to further success in the coming months.
