It is not unheard of – take former Blues pair Yaya and Kolo Toure or Shaun and Bradley Wright-Phillips, but the Ogbetas, hailing from Salford, are another family duo breaking into the world of professional sport.

Nathanael, 18, is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues but was a key cog in our under 18s’ march to the FA Youth Cup final last season, featuring in the shootout defeat to Liverpool and regularly throughout the campaign.

Older sister Naomi, 21, is third in the GB all-time triple jump list and can boast both a gold medal at the UK indoor Championships and gold at the British Championships in the past year.

Despite both being professional athletes, there was no sibling rivalry on show as they opened up about their upbringing and family life with us, the pair clearly still sharing a very close bond.
