The 2018-19 season was the greatest in Manchester City’s history.
We became the first side to win every single major English honour in a single season, and the first team in a decade to retain the Premier League title.

That’s now 198 points over the course of two Premier League seasons, meaning we have dropped just 30 points in that period. Remarkable consistency by any measure.

The Catalan manager, who now has 27 major trophies to his name since becoming a coach at Barcelona in 2008, discusses our style of play, the moment he felt the title was lost, his hopes for next season’s Champions League and his relationship with Director of Football Txiki Begiristain.
“One of the best [achievements of my career],” Guardiola said of our Fourmidables campaign. “Especially where we have done it, in England. This is the toughest one!
“People said before I came here that English football is the most difficult one. When you are here you realise it.”
