City are delighted to announce Georgia Stanway has signed a new contract.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, which will keep her at the Club until the end of the 2022 season, and will wear the number 10 shirt from the 2019/20 campaign.

Despite her youth, the Barrow-born forward – now a regular starter – has clocked up 88 appearances for Nick Cushing’s side, scoring 35 goals, as she helped the Blues to a clean sweep of domestic trophies and two Champions League semi-finals.
Signed from Blackburn Rovers as a teenager, she made her debut aged just 16, and scored on her second substitute appearance. Renowned as a scorer of stunning, long-range efforts, Stanway has netted crucial strikes in her fledgling career, gaining multiple Goal of the Season awards.
With the Blues still in the hunt for a domestic treble, the youngster expressed her delight to have committed her long-term future to the Club.
“It’s amazing,” she declared. “I’ve been here for four years already and I’ve loved every single minute.
“To be here to stay is a massive achievement and I can’t wait to get going again.
“This is where I feel at home and this is where the majority of my development has happened. I’m in the best possible position to move forward and I’m happy here.”
