Pep Guardiola spoke of his delight at his Manchester City side making it through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Two goals on the day from Sergio Aguero, as well as one each from Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus sealed an empthatic 7-0 win over Schalke at the Etihad Stadium, leaving City to progress as 10-2 winners on aggregate.

Following the rampant victory, Pep admitted that he would have liked more intensity from his side in the opening 20 minutes but that he was happy he side made it through to the quarter-final stages of the competition.
“I would have liked to be more in 20 minutes who we are but that was the situation. You cannot expect in 90 minutes to play like that.
“We were solid and we didn’t concede chances. Second half we was incredible.
“We scored seven goals.We were serious and i am incredibly happy to be in the quarter finals.”
