Parris in an England regular and the WSL’s all-time leading goalscorer...and she’s just 25!

Here, we sit down with Nikita to find out her inspirations and challenges. She cites her football-obsessed brothers and her sister, a professional boxer, as her primary influences who were key to getting her involved with sport from an early age. 

She discusses joining a local all-boys team as a 7-year-old, the moment she knew this was something she wanted to pursue.

And she addresses the challenging environment she grew up in, as well as the difficulties women face in reaching the top of any sport.
