Taylor Harwood-Bellis’ says his dreams came true as he stepped out at Deepdale to make his senior debut for Manchester City.

The Stockport-born Academy graduate has been at the Club since the age of eight and played his first competitive 90 minutes in our 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Preston.

“It’s a dream come true to play for this Club,” he said.

“The dream has been there since I was five or six and to play in front of these fans with these players is just amazing. I loved every minute of it.”

“It’s always your goal to make the first team. I wasn’t expecting it. I knew I’d have to work for it.

“To make my debut here is unbelievable.”

The 17-year-old was deployed alongside fellow teenager Eric Garcia at the heart of defence and, having played together at youth level, he also admitted he felt the familiarity helped him settle into the game.
