Gabriel Jesus believes that Manchester City need to stay focused after drawing 2-2 against Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.

Gabriel Jesus believes that Manchester City need to keep focused after conceding a late equaliser against Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola‘s side found themselves behind at the interval after Cenk Tosun opened the scoring for the visitors.

Jesus was introduced with just 28 minutes remaining and provided a wonderful assist for Sergio Aguero‘s equaliser - which was the Argentine’s 250th goal for the Club.

Aguero netted again shortly after but the Eagles came roaring back in stoppage time, equalising through a Fernandinho own goal.

The Brazilian was a constant threat to the Palace backline but admitted the disappointment with only coming away with a point.

“We worked so hard in the last 25 minutes so we can score two goals and win the game,” said Jesus. “But the reality is different. We have to keep focused because the game was not over.

“Nobody is happy in the dressing room because we know we created more chances. We know we played so good. Now, we have to focus and work a little bit more.”
