Pep Guardiola urged his players to keep putting in the hard yards after the frustrating 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

After the visitors had taken the lead in the first half against the run of play, Sergio Aguero’s late brace had put us in front with stoppage time approaching.

But the Eagles stole a point at the death when Fernandinho, trying to prevent a tap-in for Connor Wickham, inadvertently deflected Wilfried Zaha’s vicious low cross into our net.

Guardiola was frustrated that City couldn’t hold onto their lead, but insisted the team will do everything they can to get back on track.

He said: “We conceded few (chances) honestly. They didn’t need much to score, so we have to improve.

“We will work on that, be more solid, be aggressive.

“At the end all you can do is try to create chances and concede few. Except from one or two actions, we controlled (the game).
