Pep Guardiola asserts City will learn from mistakes made in City’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

The Champions conceded late on against the Eagles to surrender victory, as Wilfried Zaha forced an injury-time own-goal from Fernandinho.

Sergio Aguero had netted twice in the final minutes to seemingly snatch victory, but Guardiola insists his side will learn lessons from the disappointment.

“We are going to solve it and improve it. Simple,” he said. “You can’t let them turn in this counter attack.

“We knew it. Last season, when they beat us, it was the same. They had two, three chances and scored.

“In general in all games against them, we controlled it but you have to avoid mistakes. You should not allow Zaha to run but we did and after we concede a goal.”
