Pep Guardiola said he was proud of his players after we became the first side in one of Europe’s top five leagues to score 100 goals this season.
Bernardo Silva’s strike in our 4-0 win over Fulham brought up the century, further underlining the attacking intent Guardiola has instilled into the squad during his time in charge.
Guardiola said afterwards he always feels confident about our quality going forward.
“Always we score goals since we are here and we have the ability to score,” he said.
“The problem this season has been conceding a few in some goals, but it’s always good to score goals.
“In general, we always score.”
