Pep Guardiola has praised the versatility of Gabriel Jesus in the wake of the City striker’s impressive recent performances operating in a more wider role.
The Brazilian international has proved his flexibility and value to the cause with a series of fine showings on the left of our attacking trident in recent weeks.

“He can play both,” the boss remarked when quizzed about Jesus’s deployment out wide.
“When the central area is reduced, he sometimes plays there, but we can play Raheem, Mahrez and Bernardo there, too.
“He plays there to arrive in the box with a more lateral view and be able to move accordingly - he’s very good at that.
“The goals against West Ham are a good example of this.”
