To celebrate, we look back on one of Man City’s classic encounters: a thrilling 6-3 triumph over Arsenal.
It was mid-December and Manuel Pellegrini’s team went in to the match against the league leaders looking to make a statement.
Goals from Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, David Silva, Yaya Toure and a Fernandinho brace made it an afternoon to remember for everyone at the Etihad Stadium.
The result also acted as a catalyst for City in a season that would see them lift both the League Cup and the Premier League trophies.
