Manchester City signed off for the November international break in style with a 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the Etihad.
Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero (penalty) and Gabriel Jesus ensured that Pep Guardiola’s side recorded a ninth consecutive league win to equal a club record.
It was also the Club’s 15th straight victory in all competitions this season, which ensure that they beat a record that they had shared with Preston and Wolves.
Belgian De Bruyne produced another top-quality all-round performance in what was a high-quality match, opening the scoring with a fine first-half shot.
Aguero’s penalty doubled City’s lead shortly after the break before Arsenal reduced the arrears with an Alexandre Lacazette goal.
