Magnificent Manchester City served up a night to remember away at Napoli as Sergio Aguero wrote his name in club folklore.

Pep Guardiola’s side secured qualification through to the last 16 of the Champions League with a marvellous 4-2 win away to the Italian league leaders.

After Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones had both powered home wonderful headers, Kun then took centre-stage, scoring the third goal to overtake Eric Brook and become the club’s all-time leading scorer with 178 goals now in total.

Appropriately enough, Sergio broke the record with a trademark wonder goal, drilling home a sublime finish after Leroy Sane had split open the Napoli defence with the game balanced on a knife-edge at 2-2.

Raheem Sterling then rounded off City’s 14th consecutive victory by scoring in stoppage time to make it four wins from four Champions League games for the Blues.
