City produced a commanding second-half performance to dispatch the Gunners, as Sergio Agüero scored his 199th City goal in the first half before Guardiola‘s men turned on the style after the break with Vincent Kompany and David Silva finding the back of the net.

On a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, the Old Guard’s goals went unanswered as City marched on to a maiden piece of silverware of Guardiola’s tenure.
