City missed four penalties throughout the afternoon - one in normal time and the other three in a shootout.
We started brightly, with Kevin De Bruyne‘s defence-splitting passes causing problems for the Wolves defence and when Leroy Sane was fouled in the box, Raheem Sterling stepped up to take the spot kick, but couldn’t find the target.
Wolves’ ‘keeper Rui Patricio put in a man of the match performance, making an incredible diving save from a David Silva free kick late in the game and he repeated his heroics in the shootout, to earn Wolves the trophy.
