It was a season like no other for clubs across the country but, for Manchester City, 2020-21 will go down as one of our most successful and memorable to date.
Pep Guardiola’s men battled back from a difficult start to capture a third Premier League crown in four years, and our recent dominance of the Carabao Cup continued for a fourth consecutive year thanks to Aymeric Laporte’s late header against Tottenham Hotspur in April’s Wembley final.
Much of that success was achieved by a truly phenomenal three-month spell between December and March where City embarked on a record 21-match winning run in all competitions, including a first away win against Liverpool since 2003.
But even when that streak was eventually broken, our performances didn’t falter, with our Champions League semi-final triumph over Paris Saint-Germain a case in point.

Although the result didn’t go the way we had hoped against Chelsea, appearing in our maiden final in Europe’s elite club competition was just rewards for our exploits across the entire campaign.
But with new faces and a renewed enthusiasm to build on last season’s success, there’s plenty to be excited about ahead of 2021-22, which begins with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
