Now, we’re in New York City and ready to face a club - one of Italy’s biggest and most successful - we’ve only played three times prior.
We were the victors in the 1978 UEFA Cup tie, drawing 2-2 in Milan before a 3-0 victory back at Maine Road.
We then played each other in a friendly exactly 10 years before this fixture, with City running out 5-1 winners in Pittsburgh.
Now, with City preparing to go for a record extending fifth successive title, we meet AC Milan once more.
