City debutant Manuel Akanji hailed Kevin de Bruyne's vision after the Belgian's Man of the Match display in the 4-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Sevilla.

The new arrival played the full 90 minutes as City cruised to victory in Spain thanks to a Erling Haaland brace and goals from Phil Foden and Ruben Dias.

De Bruyne was at his sparkling best to set up the opener and the Belgian, who was the skipper under the floodlights, was also named as the Man of the Match.

27-year-old Akanji admitted that he’s been wowed by De Bruyne‘s vision in the short time that he’s been at the Club.

“I watched him over years on TV like probably a lot of you guys and now I see it in training, It’s really crazy.

“I remember the first training, I wasn’t expecting the pass in the deep, I moved a bit out and he played the perfect pass to check to the outside.

“You have to be careful with him because out of nowhere he can make something. That makes him so dangerous.”
