Pep Guardiola‘s side progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup thanks to Nathan Ake‘s second-half winner.
The defender’s calm finish from just inside the Arsenal box proved to be the difference between two sides who have set the pace in the Premier League so far this season.

Coming out of defence, Ake picked up a Jack Grealish pass and stroked the ball home with his weaker right foot.
Both sides had created several chances before that moment and the end-to-end nature of the game continued until the final whistle.
However, a determined defensive display, including a solid showing from goalkeeper Stefan Ortega Moreno, kept Arsenal at bay.
