The Blues, on the back of successive wins over United and Napoli arrived in North London looking to make it three wins in a week.
And it was a tense watch from start to finish, with City taking the lead after a devastating counter-attack on nine minutes, finished superbly by Erling Haaland.
The Blues always carried a threat, but defended stoically after the break with the home side repelled time and time again by a team who were focused and determined to protect their lead.
The excellent Doku almost nicked a late second before City were caught flat-footed in added time as Eze lofted a pass over our defensive line and Martinelli raced through to lob Donnarumma and earn a 1-1 draw.
