With kick-off delayed by more than an hour, City were determined to put on a show for the sell-out Camping World Stadium crowd, with most supporters wearing our famous sky blue.
Although we had the better of the play in the early exchanges, it was Barcelona who took the lead when Pau Victor slid the ball under Ederson.

We got a warranted equaliser as half-time neared thanks to Nico O’Reilly‘s first senior goal. The young midfielder darted into space and was picked out by Josko Gvardiol, leaving our 19-year-old to finish on the turn.
Barcelona did take an advantage into the break though, as Pablo Torre worked the ball onto his favoured right foot on the edge of the box and shot inside the far post.
Jack Grealish levelled the scores in the second period following superb midfield play by Mateo Kovacic.
The scores remained that way until the end and a penalty shoot-out was used to decide the victor, with Barcelona taking that honour.
However, Pep Guardiola will have seen plenty to be positive about from his young charges.
