Ben Knight said it was a dream experiencing playing alongside members of City’s first team squad after finding the target in Saturday’s 4-0 friendly win over Barnsley.
Knight struck in the first half in what was an impressive display at the Academy Stadium with Sam Edozie, Riyad Mahrez and Nathan Ake also on target.
And reflecting on our second pre-season success, following last Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Preston, Knight admitted he was revelling from being in such an elite quality environment.
“When you play with these players, they are so good they bring the best out of you,” the teenager admitted.

“It’s crazy. When I was in the dressing room just now and you’ve got guys like Kevin De Bruyne sat there, it’s just different class.
“I’m just enjoying my football and whatever comes along I take it.”
