Pep Guardiola‘s side dominated the ball and chances at Anfield, with Erling Haaland going close before and after the interval, but Alisson saved on both occasions.

Phil Foden also had a goal disallowed after a VAR review and Bernardo couldn’t hide his disappointment after our first defeat of this campaign.

“We wanted to get the three points, we got out with zero, so yeah, very frustrating,” he said.

“It was a physical game, we knew it. It always is here [Anfield]. We were ready for it.

“We need to watch the game to see what didn’t work and what we could do better. But very frustrating and very disappointed for not getting a win here.

“It’s a feeling of frustration. We gave our best, there’s no doubt about that.”
