Bernardo Silva looks back at some of his personal highlights which helped him win the October Etihad Player of the Month vote.

The Portuguese midfielder was also named Player of the Month for September, making him the first City player to have won successive awards since Sergio Aguero in August and September 2019.

It was an incredibly close-run contest, with Bernardo’s 45% share of the vote just enough to see him edge out Phil Foden’s 44%.

And that fine form has continued into November, where the 27-year-old was on target in Saturday’s memorable 2-0 Derby victory away to Manchester United.

Among Bernardo’s October highlights is his incredible mazy run at Anfield, in which he slalomed his way through several Liverpool challenges before feeding Foden down the left.

Reflecting on that particular moment, he joked: “Phil should’ve finished it, it would’ve been a great assist.

“Nice play but Phil Foden, next time I pass you the ball, please score!”
