Now 30, Bernardo is one of our most decorated players of all-time having lifted an incredible 17 major honours since moving to City in 2017.
Not only that, no player has played for City more under Pep Guardiola than the No.20.
He’s now approaching 400 games in our colours, with only 16 men ever wearing our shirt more times than him.
Our association with Bernardo actually began in 2016/17, when he was a central pillar in the Monaco side with which we played out an instant Champions League classic.
He joined City the following summer and the rest is history.
53 appearances followed in a historic first year at the Etihad, as we registered a century of Premier League points - a record total to this day.
That wasn’t his first silverware at City though, as we lifted the League Cup a few months prior.
