After conceding early, Pep Guardiola’s men twice led at the Etihad Stadium before the game’s dramatic conclusion, hitting the woodwork on four separate occasions.
And while Bernardo heaped praise on our first half performance, he was frustrated that we weren’t able to see out what would’ve been a hard-earned three points.
“As a team, we need to see what we need to do better and then each one of us demand more individually,” the midfielder reflected.
“In the first half, I thought we were brilliant in the way we played and pressed, but then we need to score the goals.
“In the last minutes, we were able to score a goal to win the game but then we need to defend better as a team.
“It feels very frustrating not to get the three points.”
