We’re in the Spanish capital for the second leg of our Champions League play-off clash, looking to overturn a 3-2 defeat at the Etihad last week.
This is the fourth successive season we have faced Real Madrid, with the winner of the tie in each of the last three years going on to win the tournament.
Speaking at the Bernabeu ahead of the latest decisive encounter, our midfielder insisted the team will keep the faith until the final whistle.
“The right approach first of all is belief,” he stated.
“Even though the task is difficult, always believe it is possible. No matter what happens in first 20 or 30 minutes stay in the tie and then follow the plan.
“We know how good they are at running, countering and putting you under pressure. But we need to deal with those situations.”
