As a new year begins, we’re looking back on some of the highlights from the previous 12-months and there are plenty of superb strikes for us to savour.

A host of long range efforts have made it into our top 20, whilst there’s also several excellent free-kicks, an impressive run and shot and a couple of deft chips.
Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva are all included from the men’s first team, along with Laura Coombs, Lauren Hemp and Keira Walsh from our women’s team.
There’s been some brilliant goals from our Academy teams too, with Liam Delap, Tommy Doyle and Cole Palmer also forcing there way into contention.
