Despite its goalless scoreline, the match wasn’t without incident as both goalkeepers were called into action on multiple occasions, including Gregor Kobel denying Riyad Mahrez from the penalty spot.
After the Algerian was brought down inside the area by Emre Can, he picked himself up but saw his fierce effort superbly stopped by the German ‘keeper.
Although three points evaded us, the draw means the table summit has already been reached before we face Sevilla in the final matchday.
