Erling Haaland hit another hat-trick as City came back from conceding an early goal to win 4-1 against Ipswich Town.
The newly-promoted Tractor Boys were playing their first Premier League game in more than 20 years and took an early lead through Sammie Szmodics.
It prompted a spectacular reaction from City who responded with three goals in just three minutes and 11 seconds.
Haaland scored the first from the penalty spot after Savinho was brought down before the Brazilian robbed Ipswich keeper Aro Muric to set up Kevin De Bruyne.
The City captain then turned provider with a clever ball for Haaland’s delightful finish before a late third saw him complete his 10th hat-trick for City in just his 101st appearance for the club.
