City's preparations for the 2024/25 season start in just over two weeks against one of Britain's most famous clubs.

Pep Guardiola‘s history makers, currently on a run of four successive Premier League titles, will come up against Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

That match starts at 19:30 (EDT) on Tuesday 23 July and tickets are available to buy here.

Celtic are one of the most successful clubs in world football, having won the Scottish top-flight 52 times and the cup a record 42 times, with one European Cup triumph in 1966/67.

They have dominated north of the border in the 21st century, winning 18 titles including nine in a row between 2011/12 and 2019/20.

City haven’t faced the Bhoys since 2016, when we were drawn in the same Champions League group.

That year saw two thrilling draws between the sides, comprising of a 3-3 classic in Glasgow before a 1-1 stalemate at the Etihad.

Now the two teams will be facing off in North Carolina.
