Khaldoon Al Mubarak has spoken of his excitement about the planned expansion and further development of the Etihad Stadium.

The Club announced plans earlier this year for the development of an entertainment and leisure destination at the Etihad, including an expanded North Stand which will take the capacity of the ground to more than 60,000.

And sitting down with Chris Bailey for Part Two of his annual interview, the Chairman said the project was another example of the Club’s desire to “improve and evolve and grow”.

Over the course of a wide-ranging interview, the Chairman also looked ahead to our upcoming summer tour to Japan and Korea, discussed the success of our EDS and Under-18 teams, the positive season for the women’s team, the planned statue of Colin Bell, Francis Lee and Mike Summerbee, as well as focusing on the wider CFG group.
