To round off City’s community engagement activities on our Stateside trip, coaches from the Club’s charity, City in the Community, delivered a free, inclusive football clinic to more than 50 children from the Boys and Girls Clubs of America in Columbus.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s mission is to provide all young people with the opportunity to reach their full potential as productive and caring citizens across the United States.
Kovacic, Wright and Oboavwoduo paid a special visit to the session and spent time engaging with the youngsters both on and off the pitch.
Our stars got involved by showing off some of their skills, while also watching and coaching some of the kids involved on the day.
The afternoon ended with photograph and signing opportunities with the players, and club mascot Moonchester even made an appearance to surprise the attendees.
