City’s Champions League campaign ended in agonising fashion as we suffered a 3-1 last eight defeat at the hands of Lyon in Lisbon.
Pep Guardiola’s side trailed at the break to Maxwel Cornet’s strike but we drew level midway through the second half thanks to Kevin De Bruyne.
However, Lyon regained the lead through Moussa Dembele’s second half effort, which was allowed to stand after a VAR check for a possible foul in the build-up.
And Dembele then struck again late on to seal the victory and end our European challenge.
