Beginning in the days before it was announced that Premier League teams could return to training, the documentary takes fans on a journey with players and staff from across the business up until the conclusion of our first game back, the 3-0 win over Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.

In the games that followed, City had the best record in the league and this feature length documentary shows the extraordinary lengths the Club went to in order to get players back on to the pitch in the best condition possible.

Featuring interviews with staff employed in a variety of roles, as well Pep Guardiola and his players, the documentary lifts the lid on how everyone at City worked in these unique circumstances.

City Restart is the latest in-house production from CityTV, following the release of the acclaimed David Silva: Made In Gran Canaria and the Fight ‘til the end mini-series, which charted the final 30 days of our historic 2018/19 campaign.

You can watch the full feature length documentary on CITY+ from 4pm on Thursday 30 July.
