Pep Guardiola has saluted his captain after another star man performance.
After a stunning goal and an assist for the skipper, the boss said: “He is in incredible form since we came back from the lockdown.
“He had another exceptional game and scored again. Twice in a row, a fantastic goal.”
But asked whether he would consider trying to persuade his skipper to say, Pep said: “He decided to leave. He has said many times. He wants to finish after 10 seasons, hopefully he can come back for a final game for him and he can find a place for the last season of his career.”
