Raheem Sterling says the team aren't looking beyond the next game as City made it 13 wins out 14 in the Premier League.

The England forward admits he was disappointed not to score the second goal in the 2-0 win over Brentford, but was happy with the role he played in both goals.

“I should have taken my chance, but we ended up scoring from it anyway,” said Sterling, who saw his effort saved and the rebound turned home by Kevin De Bruyne.

“We just need to keep taking it game by game, but Brentford have now given us two tough games this season.

“It was difficult at their place and it was again tonight.”
