On this day in 2019, Manchester City cruised into the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 5-0 victory over Burnley.

Gabriel Jesus, Bernardo Silva, Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero were all on target for Pep Guardiola’s men, with a Kevin Long own goal completing the scoring.

Jesus beat two men and fired a low effort past Nick Pope to put City in front in the 23rd minute, and, after Matej Vydra spurned a one-on-one opportunity to equalise, Bernardo’s deflected effort doubled our lead.

De Bruyne rifled a third into the bottom corner from 20-yards, before his cross was turned into the back of the net by Long and the Clarets’ defender’s afternoon got worse when he pulled back David Silva inside the area, with Aguero converting the penalty to wrap up the win.
