It was 11 years ago today Roberto Mancini's City enjoyed an emphatic 5-0 win over Aston Villa at the Etihad.
It was a contender for match of the season with five great goals topped off by some Carlos Tevez dance moves.
David Silva gave City the lead shortly before half-time. Sergio Aguero and Tevez bagged themselves a brace each as Villa struggled to defend City’s relentless attacks.
In front of a packed-out Etihad crowd, it was a game to remember during the Mancini era and one of many magical matches against the West Midlands side.
