Former City boss Manuel Pellegrini celebrates his 69th birthday today – and to mark the occasion we are rewinding the clock to relive one of his most memorable games in charge at the Etihad.

It took place in April 2016 when City played host to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

An action-packed first leg had seen the sides play out a 2-2 draw in the French capital before the decider took place at a packed Etihad.

A tight, hard-fought affair between two star-studded sides was eventually settled by a piece of trademark brilliance from Kevin De Bruyne which sent us through to a first-ever Champions League semi-final.
