Aguero claimed his quintet in the space of 20 breathtaking minutes as Manuel Pellegrini’s side demolished the Magpies to return to the top of the Premier League table.
Ironically, Aleksandar Mitrovic had headed Newcastle in front but then Aguero took centre stage as he first headed us level.
Aguero’s deflected shot made it 2-1 after the break and he ran through soon after for his hat-trick.
