In what was our penultimate 2019/20 Premier League assignment, Pep Guardiola’s men served up a superb exhibition of attacking football as we swept to a dominant 4-0 win at Watford.
With the season having been interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the sight of City playing a top-level match in the depths of July may have been an unusual one.
But there was a comforting familiarity about the way we went about our work with Guardiola’s side in quite imperious form against the Hornets.

Raheem Sterling bagged an excellent first half brace to take his total of goals for the season to 19 in the league and 29 in total.
And Phil Foden and Aymeric Laporte were also on the mark to cap what was a fine evening’s work at Vicarage Road.
