An emphatic victory in Roberto Mancini's first away match as City manager on this day...
The Italian had overseen a deserved 2-0 Boxing Day win against Stoke in his first game at the helm.
And City maintained that 100% record just two days later at Molineux thanks to a Carlos Tevez brace and Javier Garrido free-kick.
Tevez’s deflected effort from Craig Bellamy’s cutback gave us the lead after the half-hour.
The hosts went close to drawing level, but City weathered the storm and were two ahead when Garrido curled home a sumptuous set-piece.
And Tevez completed the scoring late on with a clinical finish across goal for his eighth goal in seven matches to end 2009 on a high.
