And the exciting Argentine has detailed his key attributes - stating he ‘loves’ to attack.
After signing permanently for Pep Guardiola’s side from River Plate in January 2024, the 19-year-old remained at the Estadio Mas Monumental on loan for the past 13 months to aid his sparkling potential.
During that time, he continued to establish himself as one of world football’s finest youngsters - earning him a place in Argentina’s squad for the Under-20 South America Championship earlier this year.
At the tournament in Venezuela, he netted six goals as his nation came second behind Brazil in the final stage.
Fresh from his exploits at the competition, he’s aiming to make his mark in England before the season’s end.
“Personally, I think I’m ready [for English football], but obviously, I need to train with the team and improve,” he explained.
“Hopefully, the adaptation period will be short so I can start playing soon. I like to attack, go forward, and dribble.
“I also love taking on defenders and getting past them. Hopefully, I can contribute, play well, and score a lot of goals.”
