When the World Cup left a gap in the Blues’ schedule, Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez sampled the good life in Abu Dhabi – at their own pace.

The players got to see the best of Abu Dhabi and enjoy the perfect holiday experience, staying at Emirates Palace.

While Haaland took a swing at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club for fresh air, spectacular views and a round of golf, Mahrez revved his jet ski and soaked up the sun along Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Meanwhile, Rico Lewis explored the city’s top sights, including the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Lewis also took a walk through Al Ain Oasis. Under the shade of hundreds of palm trees, he learned all about the cultural influences that shaped Emirati cuisine ­­– before tasting some local flavours for himself.
