The pair enjoyed nights to remember at the Etihad on Thursday, with Samba, a graduate of our Academy, scoring twice and summer signing Allan getting on the scoresheet himself.
They’re just the latest in a long line of players to waste no time showing City fans what they can do.
In this feature, we remember the likes of Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Antoine Semenyo and Julian Alvarez, who all found the net first time out.
