Nicolas Jackson struck the hosts ahead early on, before Erling Haaland scored his ninth goal of the league campaign to level shortly after half-time.
However, Jackson had the final say, swiftly restoring Villa’s lead as our impressive unbeaten start to the new league season came to an end.
Captain Dias spoke to City Studios following the defeat and assured everyone that the team will keep on looking for ways to improve after the setback at Villa Park.
“We take it step by step. There’s a long way to go.
“We know we can always improve and that’s where our mind is.
“We take it one at a time and we try our best every time.”
