Swift strikes from Jair Cunha and Liam Delap had the hosts two goals ahead after just 18 minutes at a raucous City Ground.
Rayan Cherki drilled a superb half-volley into the top corner shortly after the half-time interval to get us back into the game, but Delap struck his second of the evening to secure the points for Oliver Glasner’s side.
The result means we’ve now lost three Premier League matches in succession for the first time in two years and leaves us six points behind league-leaders Arsenal.
In his interview with City Studios after the game, Doku provided his assessment of the defeat and gave an insight into how the team will look to respond to the latest setback.
“Obviously the third goal came at the wrong moment,” he said. “We were in a good moment and then they scored on a counter attack and we had to start over again.
“We didn’t start the game well and then it’s always difficult to come back away against teams like this. We need to do better.
“The international break comes at the right moment.
“We will analyse ourselves and work on the things we need to work on.”
